Speed Camp

This summer, Nathan and Jacob have been taking speed training classes at Weber State University. This is funny to me and I think it is really a time to hang with friends twice a week. They have actually learned some good things though, and have enjoyed the time out of the house. These pictures are of their last test day!

Jacob's First and Last Mug Shot

This summer has been full of soccer and basketball tournaments for our kids. At the Clinton 3 on 3 basketball tournament for Jacob, things got a little out of control. We were playing in the 10 and under group and had to have about 6 police officers observe each game. It really was just one team who thought that basketball was really professional wrestling. Their parents felt like they could use any language they chose because they were American citizens. They also understood the “no smoking” in a public park to mean light up and stand in the gutter. Anyway, a couple of kids went after Jacob and a detective had to call them over. Wow! They ended up winning the championship and $25.00 to use at Academy Sports. Jacob went the next week and bought a football!!!
