Today was Dads and Donut Day at the school. Shane came and read with the kids. It was good times for them…even though they didn’t think to snag me a donut!

Making the Team

Nathan tried out for Clearfield High’s soccer team this week. Everyone was confident in his ability, but I have never been more nervous. Not that I don’t have faith in him, but maybe in other people!!! Jacob and I went to pick him up. When I finally saw him, he was bent over. I was sure he was either crying or praying in thanks. The smile on his face confirmed that he was praying in gratitude. We are so excited for him. He has been blessed with this talent and has worked hard to increase his skill. Now we get to look forward to sitting in freezing weather to watch him play. (In reality, he was bent over signing up his jersey size---a mother can only hope.)
